What is the difference between thin brick veneer and traditional full-size bricks?
Our thin brick veneers are cut from real kiln-fired clay bricks but are only 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch thick. This allows for the authentic look and durability of real brick without the need for additional structural support or footings required by full-sized masonry.
Can I install Old Mill brick products over existing drywall?
Yes, our thin brick systems are designed for easy installation over most sound surfaces, including drywall, cement board, and masonry. For interior applications, we recommend using our Brick It adhesive or a high-quality thin-set mortar.
How do I calculate how much brick I need for my project?
To determine the quantity needed, calculate the total square footage of your wall (length x height) and subtract any openings like windows or doors. We recommend adding a 5-10% waste factor to account for cuts and breakage during installation.
What is your shipping policy for heavy masonry pallets?
Large orders are shipped via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight on pallets to ensure stability. Most orders include lift-gate delivery to your curbside or driveway. Standard shipping typically takes 7-10 business days depending on your location.
Are your brick products suitable for outdoor use in cold climates?
Absolutely. Because our products are made from genuine kiln-fired clay, they are naturally weather-resistant and can withstand extreme freeze-thaw cycles, making them ideal for both interior accents and exterior siding.
What is your return policy for overstocked items?
We accept returns on unopened, full boxes of brick within 30 days of delivery. Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs and a restocking fee may apply due to the weight and specialized handling required for masonry products.
